Yeay!! so the play is finally over! Hard work paid off! I think, tonight's performance is better than last night's performance(save the best for last, am I right? *wink*). Ppl didn't miss a lot of lines! Well, now that it's over, I don't have to wake up early on Saturdays to go and rehearse haha.

Tonight's performance was pretty much like last night, but better. Anyways, I have pictures, so here ya go!

Hello! So the yr 11 drama students have been practicing their play that's being performed tonight and tmr night. Yes, I never mentioned our play. This play we're doing is called Fools by Neil Simon. It's a comedy so.. it's absolutely funny!

We've been practicing since September. We got better and better as days passed. Of course there were mistakes, ppl forgeting their lines, saying the wrong thing, but it was okay! I totally enjoyed the rehearsal days! Yes, it was very time consuming, also it was kind of a burden for us as most of us are in yr11 and we're preparing for our IGCSEs.. The teacher even made us go on Saturdays for 4 hours of rehearsal! But it was worth it! Tonight's performance went very well.

The crowd loved us! There were lots of laughs! Totally a success! There were funny scenes (obv it's a comedy!), there were romantic scenes, awkward scenes... It was just.. really great! To be honest, I'm very glad and proud! Well, actually I'm glad that it's almost over because there will be no more rehearsals and we can focus on our IGCSEs, still I'm pretty sure I'll miss this when it's finally over.

Well, now there's one more performance left. And for those of you who live in Miri, Sarawak and would like to come and watch our play tomorrow night, you can get tickets from Tenby administration office. Ticket price is RM15 each. I might upload pictures, but I'm not sure.

Bye!

Hello! Salut! Halo! Hola! 您好！ हैलो! Ciao! So my school had international day today and it was great fun! The students got to dress up in their own country's clothes. There were many different countries such as Nigeria, Norway, Ireland, Indonesia, Iran, France, New Zealand and many more! Each class picked a country and decorated the class so it looks like their chosen country. My class were doing Iran.

In the morning, from 8.15-10.00 we had a flag challenge, which is redesigning your country's flag. and then from about 10.30-12.00 we had a country challenge, which is going around the school and into other classrooms to get a stamp (each student was given a "passport"), but before they can get a stamp they have to finish challenges or quizzes or just look around the classroom. If your able to collect as many stamps as possible, you get house points. And from 12.00-14.00 food time yeay!!! So at this time, you can buy coupons to buy food and drinks from each country. I didn't try a lot of food cuz I didn't have much money on me, but from the looks of it, they were really nice!! yummy!

To be honest, the international day last year was better than this, because last year the students didn't organise it, this year it was the students so it was kind of um... idk.. messy? It's just not as exciting as last year.

So here are pictures I took:

Hai guiseee! Remember when I mentioned that Global Mandiri will have a film festival? Yep, that film festival finally happened. Okay, skrng gue mau bahas tentang Awarding Day GlorFF 2013. Kemaren (2 November 2013) Awarding Day GloriFF dilaksanakan. How's the event going? Absolutely very fun! Awarding Day GloriFF 2013 seru banget! Banyaaaaaaaaaaaaak bgt bintang tamu yg dateng! Bintang tamu yg dateng pas GloriFF adalah WHDY, band anak SMA dari sekolah gue. If you guys wonder apa kepanjangan dari WHDY, kepanjangannya adalah "We Haven't Decided Yet" Kenapa namanya itu? Style perform mereka kyk waktu di era 70-80 an gt dehh.. Namanya adalah Ajul & friends kalo gasalah(?) gue lupa hehe. Nah, lagu yang paling gue inget dari mereka judulnya "Mencari Pacar" lagu tersebut dikhususkan buat para jomblo jomblo termasuk gw #salamjomblo. Okay, back to the event, ada 11 sekolah yang ikut acara ini. Yaitu SMP Al-Azhar 9 Kemang, SMPN 1 Cileungsi, SMPN 1 Klapanunggal, SMPN 3 Gunung Putri, SMP Global Mandiri Cibubur, SMP Global Mandiri Jakarta, SMP Labschool Cibubur, SMP An-Nahl, SMP Salman Al Farisi Bandung, SMPN 2 Gunung Putri, dan SMP Citra Nusa Bogor. Menurut gue film mereka bagus-bagus banget semua! Tapi yang paling keren tetep punya SMP Global Mandiri Cibubur dong... #setiasamasekolah #membelasekolahsendiri. wkwkwk. Okay, sekarang untuk penghargaan, ada *ngitung* 1..2..3.. ada 10 kategori! And the good news is, sekolah gue menang 4 dari 10 kategori, yayyy!!! kategori-kategori yang sekolah gue menangin adalah: Best Film, Best Actor/Actress in Supporting Role, Best Film Editing, sama Best Director! Congrats buat sekolah gue dan sekolah-sekolah yg dapet best-best lain! Semoga GloriFF bakal ada lagi di tahun 2014! :) *more pictures below
