Hey everyone! Sorry for the hiatus, been busy with college and well, life basically. I just finished my mid-semester exams so.... yeah.
But anyways, on Saturday, right after my exams I decided to have a mini photoshoot in my room and my sister would take the photos for me. I used to do this A LOT but I kinda got lazy after a while and now.... I did it again hahahahaha.
So a little story here, I'm actually also quite into fashion and modelling, so I decided to raid my mum's closet and found this really beautiful red/maroon ruffle-sleeved shirt that my mum recently bought and a vintage salmon(?) pants that I believe she bought in... 2002? My mum and I are pretty much the same size so we basically like to share clothing.. especially shoes hahaha.
Unfortunately guys, the clothes that I'm wearing do not have a brand so I will not mention where you can get them, but here is the outcome (big shout out to my sister hehehe)
Yeah, only one out of many photos she took turned out decent lol.

Halo semuanyaaa! Maaf ya udah ngilang lama bgt, sibuk sama kuliah dan well.., life. Gue baru aja selesai ujian tengah semester soo...
Anyway, hari Sabtu kemaren pas setelah selesai ujian gue ngadain mini photoshoot gitu di kamar dan adek gue yg ngambil fotonya. Dulu gue SERING BANGET ngadain mini photoshoot dikamar tp lama2 jd males dan sekarang... mulai lg hahahaha.
Jadi cerita aja nih, gue sebenernya juga suka sama fashion and modelling, jadi gue bongkar lemari nyokap gue dan nemu baju merah cantik ini dengan lengan yg ada rufflesnya gitu sm celana warna salmon(?) yg kayaknya nyokap gw beli di tahun... 2002? Gue sama nyokap gue ga beda jauh badannya jadi suka pinjem baju... apalagi sepatu hahaha.

Hello everyone!
After 7 months of not posting I finally came back with another post!
And before I start I just wanted to say happy new year, I can't wait to see what 2017 has in store for us and I wish you have a great 2017!
So I've been following this Malaysian lipstick company called Velvet Vanity on Instagram for quite a while now, maybe about 3 months give or take? and when I first discovered it I instantly fell in love with their products bc the colours are really really pretty and I've wanted to buy them but I was waiting for the right time to come. And when the time finally came, I immediately placed my orders!! So yayy!!
Anyway, Velvet Vanity was having a christmas sale where you buy all 3 liquid lipsticks for RM100 (I know, what a steal right?) so I decided to buy all three of them bc why not? and I just received my package last week. So now, I am going to give you my thoughts on the liquid lipsticks!
First of all, can we talk about how cute the packaging is I mean, look at this, this is so cuuuuuteee! And every package comes with a thank you card from Velvet Vanity so you're welcome!
And this is what the colours of the lipsticks look like:
![]() |
| Left to Right: Cheap Thrills, Mr. West, Slamberry |
Like I said, pretty right? After I received my package I decided to do 3 different makeup looks using all 3 lipsticks, and these are the outcomes:
Cheap Thrills
Mr. West
Slamberry
I decided to kinda match the look with the colour of the lipsticks, so the look using Cheap Thrills I decided to go with a light brownish theme, regular smokey eye and brownish hijab and clothes, for Mr. West I decided to wear all black and do a darker smokey eye, and the look using Slamberry I decided to be colourful, rainbow hijab, denim jacket and pink eyeshadow to match Slamberry's colour.
After trying them out my thoughts are:
- - It is super lightweight!: It really doesn't feel as though you are wearing lipstick at all!
- - Very waterproof!: You really need to use makeup wipes or facial wash to remove makeup in order to remove the lipstick, just water is not enough
- - Long lasting
- - Doesn't wear off easily: Even if you've drunk loads of liquid (water, coffee, milo) it won't wear off!
- - Not transferable: Meaning you can kiss your significant other or anything really, and the lipstick won't transfer to whatever you kissed
- - Lastly, like I've mentioned before, v v v pretty colours
The best part is, Velvet Vanity liquid lipsticks are 100% vegan and cruelty free! So to conclude everything, I really really really like Velvet Vanity's lipsticks! Definitely recommended especially for you lipstick junkies out there! For my Indonesian readers, if you are interested in buying any Velvet Vanity liquid lipsticks you can go to their official website, shopvelvetvanity.com or go to Instagram page @makeupmodellare which is the official distributor of Velvet Vanity Cosmetics in Indonesia.
So that's it for this blog post, thank you so much for reading this! x

Halo semuanyaaaa!
Jadi setelah 7 bulan ga nge-post gw akhirnya kembali dengan post yg baru!
Nah skrg sebelum mulai, gw cuman mau ngucapin selamat tahun baru, ga sabar deh buat ngeliat apa yg 2017 punya buat kita, dan semoga kalian semua bakal punya 2017 yg bagus!
Paket gw baru aja nyampe minggu lalu, jd sekarang gw mau ngebahas opini gw tentang liquid lipsticknya Velvet Vanity.
Pertama, liat deh packagingnya, lucu banget kan?? Udah gt di setiap paket ada thank you card dari Velvet Vanity, jadi sama-sama!
Dan ini warna lipstick2nya:
![]() |
| Kiri ke Kanan: Cheap Thrills, Mr. West, Slamberry |
Kayak yg gw bilang, cantik kan warnanya? Setelah paketnya sampe gw iseng2 aja dandan bikin 3 makeup look yg berbeda memakai 3 lipstick2nya, dan ini hasilnya:
Cheap Thrills
Mr. West
Slamberry
Jadi gw tuh dandannya ngepas-in warna lipsticknya, jadi buat warna Cheap Thrills gw pake hijab dan baju warna kecoklatan, sama regular smokey eye buat eye makeupnya, trs buat Mr. West, gw pake all black, dan smokey eye yg lebih gelap, trs buat Slamberry pake hijab warna-warni, jaket denim, terus buat eye makeupnya pake warna pink.
Setelah coba semuanya, opini gw adalah:
- - Super enteng!: bener2 ga kerasa pake lipstick saking ringannya di bibir!
- - Sangat anti air: klo mau nge hapus lipsticknya bener2 harus pake makeup wipes atau sabun muka buat ngebersihin makeup, karena air biasa aja ga cukup
- - Tahan lama

Hey guys, happy new year woo!! *party popper emoji*
So how was your 2015? Did you enjoy it? What fun stuff did you do during 2015? And what has been rough for you during 2015? For me, my 2015 turned out to be a pretty good year! I mean I wasn't always having fun, obviously I had days where I felt so sad or angry, but overall, 2015 was good. Actually it got better and better as time passed.
So, I wanna tell you guys my most memorable time of 2015 aka the best memories. If you're wondering how I remember all the best things throughout 2015 (although I'm pretty sure none of you are wondering), I have a 'best memories' jar where I write down all the best things that has happened throughout the year, and put them in the jar and I don't read them until the end of the year (obviously y'all already know that).
Anyways, here's how it went:
7th February 2015
It was family day at school, I had lots of fun with my friends, I went to the haunted house, which wasn't scary at all (you could literally tell who were being the ghosts), played tug of war, and water balloon fight! All of us were soaking wet.
21st March 2015
The MOST exciting school event is here (at least that's what I think). Playback 2015. Where all students get to show off their talents, dancing for example. The little kids' performance was good, secondary students' performance wasn't bad as well. There were lots of laughs, it was just... fun! I'm very looking forward to Playback 2016!
April 2015 (can't remember the date)
A month before my math IGCSE, there was a normal math test. And I got an A on the test. I was so happy. But then when I finally sit the actual exam, i only got a B :(
20th July 2015
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! I'M FINALLY 15 YEARS OLD!! Not only that I turned 15, it was also the day I went to Hong Kong! Best birthday present yet!
8th August 2015
I'm back in Cibubur (a city couple hours away from Jakarta). I was so excited that day because later that night, I went out to have some fun with my friends that I hadn't seen in so long. Glorifest 2015. It was probably the best night of my entire life. Glorifest is a school event in my old school that happens annually (maybe). It's sort of like a concert, but not really a concert. They would hire Indonesian singers and dj to perform at the school. So you get the idea right? The event starts from about 7 pm until midnight.
17th August 2015
Happy Independence day Indonesia! Another great day with great people. In honour of Indonesia's independence day, my neighbours and I celebrated by playing some games. Each year in my neighbourhood, we celebrate Indonesia's independence day by organising games for kids to adults to play. Like, tug of war, sack race, lomba makan kerupuk (idk the english word for this but if you wanna know look it up), lomba bakiak (look it up if you wanna know), etc. Also it was Eid, so there was a gathering at night. It was great fun.
23rd October 2015
INTERNATIONAL DAY IS HERE!! I already wrote a story about this so you can click this if you wanna read it.
26th November 2015
The last day of our 'Fools' performance. I also wrote a story about this so click this and this if you wanna read it.
So yeah that's my 2015 story, what's yours? I hope 2016 will turn out to be a great year!
Bye!!

Yeay!! so the play is finally over! Hard work paid off! I think, tonight's performance is better than last night's performance(save the best for last, am I right? *wink*). Ppl didn't miss a lot of lines! Well, now that it's over, I don't have to wake up early on Saturdays to go and rehearse haha.
Tonight's performance was pretty much like last night, but better. Anyways, I have pictures, so here ya go!

Hello! So the yr 11 drama students have been practicing their play that's being performed tonight and tmr night. Yes, I never mentioned our play. This play we're doing is called Fools by Neil Simon. It's a comedy so.. it's absolutely funny!
We've been practicing since September. We got better and better as days passed. Of course there were mistakes, ppl forgeting their lines, saying the wrong thing, but it was okay! I totally enjoyed the rehearsal days! Yes, it was very time consuming, also it was kind of a burden for us as most of us are in yr11 and we're preparing for our IGCSEs.. The teacher even made us go on Saturdays for 4 hours of rehearsal! But it was worth it! Tonight's performance went very well.
The crowd loved us! There were lots of laughs! Totally a success! There were funny scenes (obv it's a comedy!), there were romantic scenes, awkward scenes... It was just.. really great! To be honest, I'm very glad and proud! Well, actually I'm glad that it's almost over because there will be no more rehearsals and we can focus on our IGCSEs, still I'm pretty sure I'll miss this when it's finally over.
Well, now there's one more performance left. And for those of you who live in Miri, Sarawak and would like to come and watch our play tomorrow night, you can get tickets from Tenby administration office. Ticket price is RM15 each. I might upload pictures, but I'm not sure.

Hello!! Happy second day of November! How's October going for you? Did you have fun in this warm and cozy month? (wait does this even make sense??). Well, I certainly did. I had fun during October. First of all, I didn't have to go to school in the first week, it was half term break (yeayy!! \(^_^)/ ) though I had to study bcs IGCSE ARGHHH so stressful. And second, international day. As I said in my last post (if you haven't read it here's the link http://almiraputrisandy.blogspot.my/2015/10/tism-international-day-2015.html) international day was great fun, I really enjoyed that event because I just love it when people dress up in their national clothes or even just dress up as a character for book week or halloween.
Speaking of halloween, did you guys dress up as something? if you did what did you dress up as? And did you guys have a halloween party? Was it fun? Did you enjoy it? My school had a halloween on Friday the 30th of October, but I didn't go because I wasn't bothered to go. But, I did dress up as a character (or at least makeup/face paint). I was a pop art character and sugar skull.
It took me ages to finish one look. It took me about 2-3 hrs per look so that means I took about 6 hrs to do both looks. I don't celebrate halloween guys, I did this because I love face painting/makeup. I find it a really fun thing to do when you're bored.
Enough of halloween, It's time for me to give you my October 2015 playlist! (trumpet sound) (throws confetti) So here ya go ~~ https://soundcloud.com/almiraputrisandy/sets/october-2015.
So.. I think that's it. Have a nice November y'all!
p.s. follow my soundcloud and instagram@almiraputrisandy TY!

Hello! Salut! Halo! Hola! 您好! हैलो! Ciao! So my school had international day today and it was great fun! The students got to dress up in their own country's clothes. There were many different countries such as Nigeria, Norway, Ireland, Indonesia, Iran, France, New Zealand and many more! Each class picked a country and decorated the class so it looks like their chosen country. My class were doing Iran.
In the morning, from 8.15-10.00 we had a flag challenge, which is redesigning your country's flag. and then from about 10.30-12.00 we had a country challenge, which is going around the school and into other classrooms to get a stamp (each student was given a "passport"), but before they can get a stamp they have to finish challenges or quizzes or just look around the classroom. If your able to collect as many stamps as possible, you get house points. And from 12.00-14.00 food time yeay!!! So at this time, you can buy coupons to buy food and drinks from each country. I didn't try a lot of food cuz I didn't have much money on me, but from the looks of it, they were really nice!! yummy!
To be honest, the international day last year was better than this, because last year the students didn't organise it, this year it was the students so it was kind of um... idk.. messy? It's just not as exciting as last year.
So here are pictures I took:
